The Yi Syllables Unicode block contains 1165 interesting-looking characters.  (Previously, surveying other Unicode blocks: Georgian, Korean, Japanese kana, Greek.)  From this set of 1165, we remove the 345 characters that have an inverted breve on top because they look boringly similar to their corresponding character without an inverted breve.  This leaves 820 especially interesting-looking characters, which we give below.  Those syllables with inverted breve all had names which end with X, and vice versa.  Curiously, most of those syllables have a corresponding syllable without the inverted breve whose name simply removes the X, but there are 3 exceptions: nzox nzop, vex vep, and hnox hnop.

Does the design of the Yi syllabary have any order or structure?  Other than inverted breve, I cannot see any commonalities within rows or columns of the Yi phonetic syllable chart.  It would not be strange if there isn't any structure: there are no commonalities among rows or columns of the Japanese syllabaries, either; their characters are simplifications of kanji which have the right sound: man'yogana.

Are there syllables which are rotations of each other?  Mirror images?  If not, that's better than Latin, which beguiles dyslexics.

It's surprising pop culture hasn't discovered and ogled over U+A31B ꌛ YI SYLLABLE SEX: ꌛ .  Consider using that instead of the eggplant emoji to proposition someone.  Or, 41755 could be a number with a meaning, possibly to be censored.

YI SYLLABLE WU U+A015 ꀕ ꀕis semantically interesting, because it is not actually a syllable but a syllable iteration mark, much like katakana.  It's official Unicode name and its placement mixed with all the syllables were mistakes.  It is not visually distinctive: there are other actual syllables which use the components in wu.

YI CHARACTER TU U+A132 ꄲ ꄲ looks like Hindu-Arabic zero.
