Create a game in the style of Minecraft that models nuclear reactor design. The basic idea is a bunch of uranium blocks placed in close proximity will go critical.
Further simulate how atomic state transitions are probabilistic. It's very difficult to build a truly robust, fault-tolerant reactor; you are undone by some extremely rare event that subverts all your safety mechanisms.
Creepers also spawn and mess things up, simulating the human element.
Inspired by IndustrialCraft, which allows placing fuel blocks and coolant only on a 2D array.
