Are there any "neat" objects in a toroidal (torus) universe in Conway's Game of Life?
I think a width 6 height 1 strip (worker bee) is a nice oscillator in a width 8 tall enough universe.
Many objects which would need their ends stabilized in the regular infinite plane universe would not have ends on a torus. Ants. Gray area (horizontal stripes).
