[jtnfojnq] Hailstone modeling problem

A hailstone drops through the atmosphere, encountering air resistance and gaining mass.

Air resistance depends on size.

I don't know how to model the rate at which the hailstone gains mass.  Perhaps surface area and the mass of the conical volume of supercooled water vapor the hailstone cuts through.

Air density depends on height.

Gravity depends on height (hailstones in a gas giant planet).

What is the speed?  How large is it?  (As a function of time or distance)

Coupled differential equations.
