[nkuyghmh] Coloring the rhombic dodecahedral honeycomb

How many colors suffice to color the cells of the rhombic dodecahedral honeycomb so that cells adjacent through faces have different colors?  Probably 4.

The question is generalizable to all tessellations in all dimensions.
