Not easily doable on common filesystems are hooks which execute on actions with the file: read, modify, delete. It does not seem too difficult to implement.
Of course, such a thing can result in dangerous infinite loops, so we need tools to avoid them.
A simple filesystem should not do such things, but at what level should a user interact with files?
