Suppose we made everywhere between the tropic of cancer and tropic of capricorn a "no human" zone, allowing rain reforestation. Would our global warming greenhouse effect problem go away?
Perhaps, a "no agriculture" zone, because that's what (I think) is the cause of deforestation?
This is probably a hugely unworkable solution. lots of people living there would have to be genocided / forced to migrate.
