A dynamic display, showing the current date and time in QR code. Not entirely sure what this could be useful for.
Maybe throw in the weather forecast or stock market.
Possible application: Live location of many (all) subway trains, for use to a scheduling program installed on the smartphone. Cell signals often do not reach underground, so riders can't get information the "normal" way. It's kind of a countdown display ("next train in 20 minutes") on steroids.
