It seems deceptive that the operator of the airport Rapidscan full body scanner is hidden away elsewhere. You can't see face to face the person who will be looking at you naked. You can't tell if they are are male or female. You can't tell if they are masturbating to your naked form. You might even be fooled into thinking there is no person involved, like a metal detector.
Require that the operator be present, visible, and obviously connected to the machine, perhaps viewing you through a hooded display like Spock's science station on the bridge of the Enterprise.
