24 characters total that look fairly different from each other.  not sure what this might be useful for.

semantic overlaps: F and phi, G and gamma, P and pi, W and omega, X and xi.  maybe Q and theta.  having both R and Я makes life difficult for dyslexics.

add 10 digits to get 34 characters.  Google Plus Codes (the source of the Latin subset) omit 0 and 1, leaving 32.

Cyrillic characters are Ж (1046, Zhe), Я (1071, Ya).  if not using digits, then the following could be added: Б looks like number 6, З looks like number 3, Ч looks like number 4.  И was rejected because it can look like Latin letters U or H in some fonts.  beware the name Zhe Ж soundy very similar to the name of J.

the letters in Google Plus Codes were selected to avoid profanities, but adding letters from other alphabets might restore them.
