What movie action sequences are enjoyable to watch artificially slowed down? There is good stuff going on that is too quick for the eye to notice at normal speed.
This is modern filmmaking: some, perhaps most, of the audience is going to watch the movie on a platform (e.g., PC, smart TV) that can do slow motion. Modern filmmaking anticipates interaction. It is not the old-school big screen where the audience got no interactive control.
