Create a video game in which all you do is talk to non-playing characters, getting and giving information. The NPCs act according to the information they have gotten from you, ultimately yielding outcomes of the game.
You are the information conduit.
This has probably already been done.
The game strategy lies in deciding what order to talk to NPCs, so controlling who knows what when, including what you yourself know. For simplicity, you never lie to NPCs, nor do you ever withhold from them information you know.
Providing information to an NPC often results in them providing you more information, which you can then pass along to others.
How should the mechanics of conversing with an NPC work?
This game might be annoying to play multiple times, making multiple attempts to win, needing to keep track of what you know or don't know on this play through.
