Similar to computer-aided music composition is computer-aided fiction writing. Which will make quicker progress?
I predict music, because good literature is always grounded in some sort of reality of the human experience. It seems difficult for a computer to learn the human experience well enough to get the details (ultimately the words describing the details of the experience) exactly right.
Music is more abstract, so more forgiving.
The difficulty literature faces seems vaguely similar to the uncanny valley in computer graphics.
The two fields overlap in the writing of lyrics to music.
