Organizing information, publishing the organized form into public domain on the web, might be the activity that a "normal person" could do in their free time that will have the most impact on the world, because information is a public good.
(Though this might be false: In order to understand information well enough to organize it, one might need to have interacted with it, done actions with it, actions which might not be accessible to a normal person.)
One does not need other people, their cooperation, to organize information. Productivity often depends on other people: this is an exception.
