Assuming my sources are correct, there are 366.256366225 sidereal rotation periods in a sidereal year. These are the motions of the earth from the perspective of a distant observer, arguably the right perspective.
The number suggests inventing a calendar and system of leap years.
(It is difficult research to find the length of the sidereal rotation period and the sidereal year in compatible units: there are so many subtly different definitions of the second.)
