Hypothesize that those against abortion are particularly interested in preventing a certain social class of women -- or families -- from getting abortions: "We need the lower class to continue to breed to provide us with servant labor.  Child rearing will keep them occupied away from efforts to achieve upward class mobility (e.g., education), or bump them down in class, thus increasing the supply (so decreasing the price) of servant labor."
