Provide temporary overhead lighting to an outdoor event with a light mounted on a helium balloon secured by guy wires. What light provides the most brightness per kilogram of payload mass? Power could be provided by onboard batteries or a power cable in parallel to a guy wire. If the latter, to minimize the mass of the cable, we would prefer to use higher voltage. However, this might require a massive onboard transformer.
Alternatively, a quadcopter which stays in one place, possibly wired.
Or, let the payload only be a mirror (probably convex), and provide light though ground-based beams which reflect off the mirror. Essentially a mirror ball. The beams actively track the balloon mirror, which, even with guy wires, likely moves about due to wind.
