Experiment, perhaps as an amateur, with isolating different isotopes of elements that are not uranium. Probably involves building your own centrifuge.
What common elements are present in several isotopes? Probably most of them.
However, because the knowledge can easily be adapted to uranium enrichment, I suspect that you will run into forces opposing nuclear proliferation, especially if you try to publish your techniques. What are those forces? Do they operate legally?
