Most people (I hope) quickly dismiss homeopathy and its preposterous premise that a substance diluted so much that not one single molecule remains still remains effective because of its spiritual imprint left on the water.
However a similar style of thinking exists, and is very popular, for "natural" foods. A natural substance, processed, isolated, and purified so much that it is chemically identical to an artificial product, still is superior to the artificial product because of some spiritual imprint left from its "natural" origin.
