[ebolrtmx] Coring the Moon

Drilling deep holes in the Earth encounters the significant problem of heat.  Not so for the Moon, or any of the other seismically dead planets and smaller bodies. Update: the core of the moon is believed to still be very hot, powering moonquakes.

The hope is a minable core of solid metal like seen in certain meteorites.

On the other hand, can we dissipate heat better from a deep Earth bore or mine?  Perhaps use the ocean.
