Nowadays employers must resort to an algorithm to screen through the flood of job applications received through job search web sites. What feedback is there that an algorithm is performing well?
Best candidate. Or candidate which meets criteria who is willing to work for the lowest income, where income is not just starting salary but also raises.
A very large employer can try and compare different algorithms, but this seems rare and difficult.
The applicants are of course game theoretically trying to present themselves to maximize their algorithmic score, as well.
