Speculate that all that is needed to launch a new platform, for example a mobile phone or a game console, is some good games. Also speculate that games are by and large way more complicated currently than they need to be to be enjoyable.
Create some very polished free-as-in-freedom classic games to spur the development and adoption of new consoles. Some goal to break monoculture. Of course they will need to be ported, but hopefully very polished code to start from makes that easy.
