[vzzjkjvc] Wikipedia for original research

Wikipedia currently aggressively deletes original research, but it could improve its philosphy.

While original research would still not be acceptable for the main article, it could always provide a link, perhaps a forum, for people doing and posting original or self-published research.  Instead of deleting content, it's always merely moving content from the main to the research forum.  The article serves as a virtual meeting point for those interested in the topic.  Eventually, work starting there might bubble up to the verifiable and peer-reviewed standards suitable for the main article.

Essentially Wikipedia hosts, or provides a link to, Journal of Foo, or, arXiv of Foo, for all Foo.
