[hduajuky] Twelve square clock

12 little squares can be drawn around the perimeter of an inner square (i.e., a 4x4 square with the middle 4 squares cut out).  Tilt this 45 degrees into a diamond, and let this be the basis for a clock or wristwatch.

The inner square can also be subdivided into 12.  The appropriate inner square lights up to denote the hour; outer square minutes (5 minute granularity).

The border between the inner and outer square is also constantly lit up to provide a point of origin and to demarcate.

10 digits can similarly be wrapped around a rectangle, though I don't know what it might be useful for.
