A difficult, athletic version of chess, with a board the size of a sports field (the larger, the more athleticism required). But the players are not given an overhead perspective, making the game slightly like blindfold; they, too, are on the field, and making a move requires moving a marker, perhaps a wheeled cart with the piece symbol easily readable by spectators in the stands, but a player needs to approach it closely to see what it is, if he or she forgot. The perspective, the distance you have to run, and the constantly ticking clock make things difficult.
