Take the two weirdest things in* the universe, namely a neutron star and a cosmic ray, and smash them together at 99.999999999999999999999 percent of the speed of light. (Not an original idea.)
This maximally awesome thought experiment actually has practical significance: LHC not causing the end of the world.
(*) Let's call black holes not "in" the universe, for they are on the other side of a half-untraversable event horizon.
