Assuming we cruelly use human bodies as rocket fuel, and liquid oxygen as oxidizer, how many bodies does it take to launch one human to escape velocity from earth? Depends on rocket exhaust velocity.
How much of a human body is usable as fuel, and how much energy does it contain? Obviously, the water in the body is not burnable. Cremation regularly burns a complete body, though energy output is not scientifically measured with a calorimeter.
