Consider an art form creating video accompanied by sound, with categories of various limits of the average bitrate (after compression) of the video. (Perhaps also categories for limiting the bitrate of the sound.)
Original idea was to strictly limit to static images (slideshow), but the desire to allow Ken Burns style pan and zoom, as well quickly shuffling images suggest expressing the limitation purely information theoretically.
Maybe a contest with prizes. At the very lowest average bitrate, it might be a contest to come up with the best single image to accompany the music.
Very similar to demoscene, though we imagine standard video compression. Also similar to music videos, if the soundtrack is taken as fixed.
