[aypoxamc] Fundamentals of data storage

A data storage system should support the following operations:
* Get all the data out.  (For migration, backups.)
* Check the integrity of the data.

I feel not enough attention is paid to the importance of these.  Inspired by the flakiness of IMAP to an Exchange server.
