[rzbelvaw] Segregated transit

Public transit has the problem that people of different social classes must share the same transit, so are forced to interact with each other.  This has lead to people who refuse to take transit no matter how convenient it is, ultimately slowing its mass adoption.

If we had (controversially) maintained segregated transit (back of the bus), would we now have more public transit, less car culture, less global warming?

The market has given us things like de facto segregated private Google Bus.

Previously on climate change and society.

Ground transportation is like ground beef: everyone gets mixed together.
