I suspect mere prose is not the most effective way to communicate to avoid misunderstanding. Consider adding "review questions" as an improvement; they force the reader to engage their mind.
Yet no one does this, outside of textbooks. How does one write good review questions to test understanding?
In general, I like pure text over other media because it can easily be parsed by machine.
