[aqjbxrpd] Endorheic basins draining to the sea

Most maps of watersheds mark basins and leave it at that.  In which direction would a basin drain if enough rain fell, overflowing the basin?

Inspired by the Bonneville flood.

Consider defining political boundaries by watersheds.  We want such boundaries not to be affected by mere things like a Biblical quantity of rainfall.

Bifurcating rivers and lakes, man-made diversions, and glacial lake districts in headwaters like Minnesota and Finland make things difficult.
