There seem to be very few books about behind the scenes of powerful people making decisions that affect a lot of people. Legislative decisions. Business decisions. One would expect this to happen when people retire or fail to get reelected. Or get fired.
Are there silencing mechanisms in effect? Compartmentalization of information?
