A disc colored like the height map of one turn of a spiral ramp. It is a gradient with a sharp discontinuity on one radial ray. The center is grayish.
Is it a helicoid? Seems not, because I think the helicoid intersects a cylinder in a double helix, while this is single.
The purpose is to draw a circular dial without having to choose the width of the hand.
