There seems to be only two mechanisms by which one person can deeply trust another:
* The trusted person has been provided incentives not to betray the trusting person. This is theoretically the normal mechanism.
* The trusted person has been subjected to years of psychological programming in order to behave in a certain way (regardless of incentives). Parenting, Religion, Organized crime ("Family").
