You are learning to use a new, weird, input device, perhaps a chording keyboard. You need to know how to "type" something.
Speak it, perhaps in NATO phonetic. After speech recognition, the directions pops up on screen.
Avoids the need to use the input device to get help on the input device, nor to have a dedicated "help" button which you won't need after becoming familiar with the device.
