Consider a modified circular arc, parameterized by angle. The arc's radius of curvature increases linearly. The center of curvature also moves "away" linearly so that, at least at the endpoints, the modifications cancel each other out.
Inspired by Moss's egg, but wanting to avoid discontinuities in curvature. Track transition curve. Euler spiral. Parametrize by arc length instead of angle?
