A screensaver which takes a very large photograph and randomly selects small rectangular sections and zooms them full screen. The sections are of random different sizes (zoom levels), angles (rotations), and even color adjustments (e.g., gamma correction per channel, channel inversion, rotations of Hue).
Inspired by the giant Hubble image of the Carina nebula. There's so much there, to be seen at different levels and angles and colors.
Cut a rotated rectangle is a needed feature of NetPBM.
