[ikwqqasy] compressible water

water is very slightly compressible because sound can be transmitted through it.  (is this logic correct?  maybe you can have traveling waves of pressure without changes in density.)  are there other ways to demonstrate that water, normally modeled as an incompressible fluid, is compressible?
