Kyrie Irving believes the earth might be flat but makes his living off of projectile motion, an activity critically affected by shape of the earth (parabolic versus elliptic trajectories). compute how many of his missed shots could be attributed to him assuming the wrong shape of the earth. what correction is needed from a parabolic trajectory to account for the roundness of the earth? assume the basket is nearer? (how does the magnitude of this correction compare with correction needed for local gravity anomalies? probably latter is larger.)
in contrast, Steph Curry's views on moon landing are irrelevant to his profession.
