[fgbpcwer] Newton and quantum chemistry

After (and while?) working on gravity, Newton worked on chemistry (which was also called alchemy at the time).

After (and while) working on gravity, Einstein worked on quantum mechanics.

Given that chemistry is quantum mechanics, they both were working on the same thing.  Both were rather mystified by it, and rightly so, given how weird quantum mechanics is.
