People compete in fighting: boxing, martial arts, maybe hockey.
People compete in dance, e.g., ballroom.
People compete in gymnastics.
There is not organized competition of the blending of these, namely fight choreography.
We imagine if there were. Movies might be boosted by having (and naming) competition-winning fight choreography performers and choreographers (perhaps teams) in their casts, perhaps as stunt doubles. Audiences will hopefully be willing to suspend disbelief -- the fight actor and non-fight actor might look different but they represent the same character -- if it's awesome enough.
Making it organized competition, something people spend years practicing, might push the art form far beyond what it is now.
