A few notes on OEIS A269454, safe primes not equal to -1 (mod 8).
5 is the only entry that is equal to 5 (mod 8). All others are 3 (mod 8). This is easy to prove: other than exceptions at the beginning, safe primes can only be 3 or 7 (mod 8). Numbers whose remainder is 7 are excluded by definition.
These also appear to be the safe primes which have 2 is a primitive root, though this might rely on the unproven conjecture.
