[fmciqosb] 1 NumLock

Create a touchscreen keyboard which in its default mode offers letters and a few special characters.  Among those special characters is the digit 1, but not the rest of the digits.  Typing 1 triggers a switch to Numbers mode in which all the digits are available.

We are taking advantage of Benford's Law, which states that 1 is the most common leading digit seen in multi-digit numbers in the real world.

Switch to Numbers Mode is of course also directly available as a special character on the main keyboard in case your number does not start with a 1.
