It seems straightforward to modify the game of go 囲碁 to allow removing one's own stones in a move (instead of placing a stone), probably to create an eye. How will the game change? How often will the subtraction move be invoked? Maybe extremely rarely, as it seems like giving your opponent two free stones. Maybe on par with suicide being an optimal strategy assuming the rules permit it.
Allow removing two or more stones in a single move? If removing two or more, allow also placing one?
