Movies (etc.) which involve traveling through a scene might be best presented as 360-degree video (virtual reality), so the viewer has an easier time keeping track where in the scene they are.
The director can keep the camera pointed in the most important direction, so that the most important action will be in front of the viewer's face when the head is in a neutral position, but the viewer is free to look around. Will it be dizzying if the camera moves but the head does not? Movies do this all the time, though not in immersive video.
