[nktqmwig] Command line JavaScript

Rarely done these days is calling JavaScript from another script, say shell, perhaps running the JavaScript in a user-configurable security sandbox, then using the results in further computation by the caller.

Cursory search finds Perl JavaScript::SpiderMonkey and pyv8.

Is it because there are no interesting generically useful library functions written in JavaScript?
