Can peer-to-peer software be implemented as a web app, using HTML5 offline storage? What things are impossible to do with Javascript in a web app?
If it is impossible, are there political forces -- probably copyright -- at work preventing these capabilities from becoming integrated into web browsers?
Can all software daemons for a personal server be deployed as web apps? (There would still remain the problem of physically setting up the server.) It is hard to imagine a Javascript ssh server which will allows logins full access to the file system.
