The way Google Glass will change the world is providing easy, quick, and somewhat covert ability to photograph, video record, and upload things like police brutality.

However, to merely do just that I think requires less than $1600 of technology, suggesting a business opportunity.  Furthermore, exposing abuses of government power is a public good so ought to be subsidized.
