[fetldidc] Two-pass journalism

Every article is explicitly two parts.  In the first part, the author attempts to get information out there quickly, paying attention to accuracy but not too much to presenting all sides of the story.

The first part gets published, and readers are asked to comment on it, crowdsourcing the missing points of view.

A second part, far more carefully researched trying to be unbiased gets published later.  Readers whose comments on part 1 caused useful lines of journalistic research are explicitly thanked.

The two parts leverage the key features of modern internet-based journalism publishing.  Get the information out quickly.  Rely on crowdsourcing.

Reading through all the inane and stupid reader comments is a dirty job, but someone has to do it.
